Every year on the 11^th day visarjan of ganesh chaturti, Agarwal Seva Samiti(Bangur Nagar) organizes a camp to distribute free vada pav to all  the ganesh bhakt going for the visarjan towards malad. The camp is set up right opposite Picasso Hotel near Bangur Nagar signal. Around 30000 vada pav are distributed in a span of 6 hours from 5pm to 11pm. 

A Blood Donation Camp was organized by Bangur Nagar Mitra Mandal Ch. Trust in association with Indian Development Foundation and Rotary International on 15^th August, 2012 at Bangur Sadan. The camp got amazing response and was successful in collecting 120 bottles from bangur nagar. A generic medicine awareness kiosk was also set up at the venue The camp was supported by Meenatai Thackerey blood bank, our corporator Shri Rajuji Padhye and sitting MLA Shri Subhashji Desai. A pan card camp was organized by Bangur Nagar Mitra Mandal in association with Unit Trust Of India at Heeramani Shopping Centre from 20^th September, 2012 to 23^rd September,2012. The four days camp was successful in making over 150 pan cards. The camp also had a provision for the submission of senior citizen card application. This camp was supported by our corporator Shri Rajuji Padhye.

A mock fire drill was organized to educate and aware the residents of Bangur Nagar as to how to react and follow precautionary measures in case of fire. An excellent initative by Bangur Nagar Mitra Mandal Ch Trust got good support from the corporator Shri Rajuji Padhye who got the fire fight team alongwith a fire brigade so that the citizens get a better and clear idea.
