Agrasen jayanti is a samajic function organized by Agarwal Seva Samiti in Bangur Nagar. This day starts with a procession in the morning and the evening is lit up with a cultural programme from the kids of bangur nagar. Agarwal Seva Samiti also felicitates students on this day for academic excellence. The cultural programme is generally a blend of few dances and a mythological play. It is then followed by dinner. 

Holi get together is organized by Bangur Nagar Ramayan Mandal Ch. Trust every year on the holi evening. Its organized in Bangur Nagar Vidya Bhawan School and is just a small get together with our friends and families for the occasion of Holi enjoyed with a thandai.

The festival of Ganpati is the most enjoyed festival of Bangur Nagar. Lord Ganesha comes in almost all societies of Bangur Nagar. Most societies in Bangur Nagar keep Ganpati for 5 days amonst which Ganpati Niwas Society keeps for 7 days. The mandaps are beautifully decorated by the youngsters of all societies. Ganpati Niwas, Giriraj(S-4), Jal Mangal Deep, Laxmi Ramana, etc are amongst the best decorations in Bangur Nagar.
